Our Ministries

At Hoover Heights, we have adult and children's ministries as follows:

  • Sunday school

    The Sunday School lessons happen in the church at 10:00 AM before the main service. Currently, Bible study lessons are from Dr. David Jeremiah's Turning Point Ministry.

  • Main Service

    Starting at 11:00 AM every Sunday, we gather at the church to worship the Lord in song, in prayer, and in the Word of God. Communion is the first Sunday of the month. For the women, the church has a ladies choir that sings throughout the year. Also singing throughout the year is the Tom Walker Family, a family of gospel singers native to New Castle. We have a Jr. Church service with Bible lessons focused toward our children.

  • Vacation Bible school

    Held the last full week of July, Hoover Heights' Annual Vacation Bible School is where children aged preschool to 6th grade come to get saved, learn in the Word, sing praises, create crafts, and play games all to God's glory. Each day has a theme from backwards night to crazy hairdos to silly hats with the last day reserved for the big VBS picnic. From Monday night through Friday night or any night, our youth gather at the church and the Fellowship Hall to have fun and worship the Lord together.

  • KIDs' CLUB

    If you enjoy the fun at VBS, then come by the Monday night Kids' Club where much of the same fun continues. The club meets at the Fellowship Hall across from the church each Monday that school is in session. Just like VBS, kids get to sing, play games, do crafts, enjoy treats, and worship the Lord together.
