Hoover Heights Tabernacle
Christian & Missionary Alliance Church
Hoover Heights Tabernacle is a protestant, evangelical church that has been serving God in the South New Castle Borough for over 120 years as the "Lighthouse on the Hill".
Our denomination was founded in 1881 when Pastor Albert B. Simpson organized a small group of believers to spread the gospel to the downtrodden dockworkers of New York City.

What We Believe
WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31)
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus, not of works, and is the gift of God to all who believe (Ephesians 2:8-9). Those who call upon the name of the Lord are saved, born again of the Holy Ghost, have received the gift of eternal life, and are the children of God.
And whosever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:26)
THE FOURFOLD GOSPEL
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. (Luke 1:47)
Our founder, Albert B. Simpson, called his theology the Fourfold Gospel which is represented in each part of our logo. The cross symbolizes the Lord Jesus as our Savior, the laver as our Sanctifier, the pitcher as our Healer, and the crown as our Coming King. Together, these symbols represent the mission of the church: spread the gospel to the whole world.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)
Before the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, He said those words to the disciples. This Great Commission is the call to all believers, the call of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, and is the purpose of our church and missionaries around the world.
